Inspector Studio
Founded in 2023 · Built by a working inspector

Built around the customer.
Proven in the field.

Inspection software has traditionally been built around the inspection. Inspector Studio was built around the customer—the relationship, every conversation, and the experience before, during, and long after the job.

Why this exists

The inspection was centered. The customer wasn’t.

Inspector Studio started with a simple disagreement about what inspection software should be built around.

Spectora was built around producing and managing an inspection. What it did not provide was the kind of true CRM and customer-service capability needed to understand the person across every interaction—not merely the job attached to them.

So in 2023, we started building around the customer instead: a complete relationship history, centralized calls, email, text, and live chat, and an experience that stays connected before the inspection begins and after the report is delivered.

How we build

The distance between the problem and the product is one inspection.

The field is not a focus group. It is where assumptions get caught.

01

Do the work

Use the platform while scheduling, inspecting, communicating, and getting paid.

02

Feel the friction

Notice the extra tap, duplicated field, missing context, or awkward handoff.

03

Build the answer

Turn that operational problem into a deliberate product workflow.

04

Take it back outside

Use it on a real job, find the next edge case, and keep improving it.

Operating principles

We care, and our products show it.

Values only matter when they change what gets built, how it behaves, and what we refuse to ship.

01

Respect the working day

A feature is not successful because it exists. It succeeds when it removes friction from a real inspection business.

02

Build around the relationship

The lead, conversations, inspections, agreements, payments, and future work should belong to one continuous customer history.

03

Tell the truth about the product

We would rather describe a limitation clearly than sell an expectation the software cannot meet.

04

Keep the person in the loop

Automation should remove repetitive work without taking judgment, ownership, or visibility away from the professional.

Leadership at launch

Three perspectives. One standard.

Inspector Studio is shaped equally by the product, market, operational, and customer-service experience its leadership brings to the table.

Inspection is where we started. Useful professional software is the larger mission.

Inspector Network builds software for working service professionals. Every product has to clear the same bar: understand the work, respect the operator, and make the day genuinely easier.
